• Laurie Renchik joined the firm after 10 years of experience with Raymond James

2008 – 2009

• Current partner, Angela Palacios joined the firm

• The “Great Recession” hits and all portfolios were impacted - this was the first time in The Center’s history in which revenues dropped significantly from the preceding year

• The Center avoided layoffs through a collaborative discussion amongst partners and team members of how to cut costs to ensure clients were well taken care of and client retention was a remarkable 99%
